Sometimes the second time works better
Our first trip to the shore this year didn't turn out so well. It was the first real hot day of the summer, we got a late start and ended up sitting in traffic for probably over 90 minutes. For about a 10 mile drive. Crazy.
This time around, we left around 7:30, got our breakfast for the ride over, hit zero traffic, and there were barely any "bennys" to be seen.
The waves weren't too big...
And we had a very faint view of NYC in the distance:

Really amazing. Love it. Sounds to me like the very best way to enjoy the shore tho I did love those late evenings when it cooled off a little and people had started leaving. By the way, I really love my Jersey Shore plates, use them continually.
