Words of wisdom from the monkey

Just some funny tidbits of conversations over the past couple months:

----------
Monkey: Can we go the other way to school today?
Me:  I already turned this way, we can go the other way tomorrow, okay?
Monkey: Yeah...I can be flexible.
----------
Chris: Hey, can you put a little bit of alcohol on this cut on my back before putting a band-aid on it?  I think I got myself pretty good.
Me: Holy moly that's a big cut.  Here (I dab the alcohol swab on back)
Chris: WHOA!  That stings!!!
Monkey: Dada, you made my heart jump when you said that!
----------
Me/Chris: Can you clean up your toys that you left all over the floor?
Monkey: Uhhh...That is...happening...to-night.
----------
Background noise as I'm putting laundry away or something: laughter, yelling, giggling, laughter, giggling, yelling.
I walk into the TV room to find Monkey and Dad wrestling and throwing pillows at each other.

Monkey: Mama. What?
Me: What what?
Monkey: What do you think about what Dada is doing to me?
----------
Chris: How was school today?  What did you do that was fun?
Monkey:  We had the fun bus today and they had a swing today and you could fit TWO PEOPLE ON IT AT ONE TIME!
Chris: Wow, that sounds like fun.
Monkey:  Yeah, we got a lot of tiny hinies (sp?) in our class.
