We had like 10 minutes between school breaks and a meeting break to go out and enjoy it. There were like 5 deer just sauntering behind our fence and I tried to get a good picture of the monkey, the dog and the deer in the snowfall, but the monkey (not the dog) decided she wanted to howl at the deer so I only got one in the photo. It’s that small brown blob behind the fence.
A few of the people’s heads broke off so they decided to go another way with it. Look closely where the heads ended up on the gingerbread house. Things got a little dark...
The monkey was commenting to me that we have a lot of boring room colors and boring pictures on the wall. She even told me she didn’t want some of her own “artwork” up because the colors were too boring. So, we went completely out of our comfort zone with this wall color. But we love it.
This is what it looked like when the previous owners lived here. Very small half bath they updated from a full bath. They used pretty crappy floor tile (can’t really see it here) that shows every speck of dirt and is hard to clean and it really doesn’t fit with the rest of the house. Chris wants to replace the whole floor, which we probably will eventually, but for now we decided on a pretty drastic “after” for us anyway. Stay tunes for the next picture 😀
We decided not to trick or treat but chris and the monkey did a scavenger hunt and some other games and had way more fun. She was a werewolf
