In between the very serious business of trying to help shovel snow, she of course still found time to be a clown.

THE BLIZZARD OF 2015...
...seemed like a bust. Supposedly we were going to get FEET of SNOW, but I think we got 6 or 7 inches. With the drifts it seems like we got a little more and since it's still snowing maybe we'll get 8 inches or so when it finally stops. But, the little monkey had fun anyway. She got to help shovel again, this time with a real shovel, and she got to run around in the street since there are no cars on the road! Maybe after her nap we'll attempt a snowman...

Helping Da-da with the snow removal
The only shovel I could find for her was the little gardening trowel. She now has a more appropriately sized shovel so I'm sure she'll be using that with this massive snowstorm that is currently moving over our state. We also have more appropriate snow gear for the little monkey so hopefully she won't get soaking wet within the first 5 minutes of being outside.

We must eat before going "night night"
Our little monkey feeding her bears before lining them up on the kitchen floor to go to sleep. I wonder if this is what she thinks everyone's day consists of - eat, sleep, play; eat, sleep, play.

Is it me, or is this a little eerie?
The obsession with "night night" continues. Sometimes I come downstairs after putting the little monkey to bed and find this. Sometimes they're all on the bed at once, but mostly she reserves the bed for herself even though she's way too big for it. This time Cookie got the honors and got the bed all to himself. I'm waiting for one of them to sit up and say "can we get up off the floor now?"

Last day of Christmas break
Our little monkey loves her monkey pajamas that her Grandmas S gave her. This is just one of the two that Grandma sent. She actually has a third from an old colleague of mine. Sometimes it's a struggle to get real clothes on her in the morning (or sometimes afternoon). But definitely makes things a little easier at night when we are trying to get her into her pajamas for bedtime.
