Our little Monkey had her first Halloween parade yesterday. She was soooo tired, but when she saw me or one of her teachers she just smiled away. Of course, as soon as I'd get the camera out, she got serious again most of the time. Most of the costumes were as you would expect - with the girls there were a lot of princesses (even a Princess Leia which is AWESOME), a Minnie Mouse, a really cute scarecrow; and the boys were mostly super heroes. But there was some kid who was a car or something. I should have looked more closely because one of his parents clearly made the costume, but he was just excited and giggling the whole time so that cuteness distracted me and I hardly looked at his costume, just his face. I'm proud to say that our little Monkey was the only viking in the group.

Twenty-one Weeks
Finally getting more pictures of her smiling. She can sit up fairly well in a high chair, so I'll have to get the next photo of her sitting up (if I can). Cute little outfit courtesy of the Monkey's family in Denver. Thanks Michelle, Fallon, Shaye and Bruce!

Twenty Weeks
A little throwback to the preppy days in our lives. A hand me down from my niece who, when I told her my little Monkey was wearing some of her old clothes said, "She's lucky to have clothes that I wore." Little smart-aleck...

Football Smooshball
Breaking down game film with Coach Baldy. One step closer to Chris having a daughter just like in Remember the Titans.

Eighteen Weeks
It's been unusually warm this week so we've gotten a few more wears out of some of the more summery clothes for the Monkey. So this outfit is a repeat of 15 weeks...one of my faves, though!
